At our May meeting we learned about those nasty ANTs!


Anxious

Negative

Thoughts


Philippians 4:6

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."


careful = anxious

supplications = heartfelt prayer, request arising out of deep personal need.


When you see an ANT, there is never just one is there? No, they come in a pack and if you don't follow that trail of ANTs and get rid of the pack, they will keep popping up.


Same with our Anxious Negative Thoughts!

Follow the trail.


Find out where they are coming from.


Deal with the whole pack of why you're having these thoughts.


If you need help, reach out to someone with Godly wisdom and let's get rid of them!!


How? Don't just read scripture and live oppositely, read, meditate day and night and DO just like we learned in Joshua 1:8


Prayer - How much are you in scripture and praying?


Supplications - What specific request are you asking and trusting God for?


Thanksgiving - Are you expressing words of gratitude? Showing gratitude? Loving with gratitude? Serving with gratitude?


Not negative anxious thought! They only feed your ANT's!


When our children were little we would send them to their room and have them evaluate why they were having bad attitude or behavior. They were told to get their heart right. Read scripture and figure it out. Guess what? It worked and held them accountable for their behavior.


I want to challenge you to do the same this month. Find the root, follow the pack of ANTs and remove them from your life!


Psalm 139:23

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:"


Oh, sister, if God knows your thoughts, is He pleased?


Today, let stomp on some ANTs!!
